The aim of the foundation is:
- Functioning as intermediary and advisor for individual families and groups and associations of families with children with auditory- and communicative problems in the former socialistic countries of middle- and eastern Europe
- Initiating, developing and executing development supporting projects, programs and activities for the benefit of children with auditory and communicative limitations and their families,
- and further more everything that in any aspect is related directly or indirectly to it or can promote this, in the broadest sense of the words
The foundation realizes her goals by:
- Organizing information in general about auditory and communicative limitations in the regional context and the circulation of it
- Informing and advising individual parents or groups of parents as well as individual or groups of professionals or organizations who are involved in the development and realization of care and education to children with communicative limitations as well as to the authorities of the regions and countries where activities are realized (like Ministries of Science and Education, Healthcare, Welfare, Youth and Family)
- Supporting, in the broadest sense of the words, parent’s initiatives for the care and education of their children with communicative limitations
- Developing, designing, mediating and acquiring of financial means for projects, programs and activities of parents and parent organizations.
- Organizing and supporting the employment of expertise from in- and outside the regional networks for those purposes.
